More protests (from pro-Tibet groups as well as Falun Gong members) as the Olympic flame is handed over to the organizers of Beijing 2008 in Athens.

What can be done? Rhetoric flows from the mouth of the presidential candidates, but there will (probably) be no action on Tibet from US government either now or in the future. No one wants to endanger the source of cheap slave labor in the factories in China.
But the situation is not hopeless at all, if those would try something different and something peaceful: consume less, especially from Walmart.
